comparative: | благі́ший Comparative meaning is also given byбільш or менш + the usual adjectival form. Більш indicates a higher degree of the property, and менш indicates a lesser one. |
superlative: | найбла́гіший Forms additionally prefixed by що- resp. як- normally express elative. Elative describes a heighest degree without comparism. German translation may use "sehr", "ganz", "höchst", "außerordentlich". Elative may be expressed by щонайбільш / якнайбільш + usual adjectival form too. Combinations of щонайменш / якнайменш + usual adjectival form mean reduction. |
